Job summary

The League of Women Voters is seeking a Specialist, Events to lead the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events. You will provide operational, logistical, and administrative support to the Events team, delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating webinars, managing registrations, and supporting event technology platforms, while ensuring events meet LWVUS standards and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in event coordination or related field.
• Experience supporting virtual meetings, webinars, or online events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and setup of webinars, virtual meetings, and online events using Teams, Zoom, and other platforms.
• Manage event registrations and calendars; handle attendee communications.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support before, during, and after events.
• Assist with venue contracts, room blocks, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain event records, invoices, and post-event materials.
