Job summary

The City of College Park is seeking a capable supervisor to support planning and coordinating activities of the Georgia International Convention Center and Gateway Center Arena parking facilities. The role emphasizes meeting contractual obligations and delivering quality customer service.

You will supervise attendants, manage event-based parking operations, handle communications, and ensure safety and efficiency during events.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2 years of college in Management or related field required.
• 2–4 years parking operations experience or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills.
• Experience communicating with diverse communities and building cooperative relationships.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Calculates and collects parking fees using equipment and audits.
• Trains attendants on procedures and equipment.
• Directs traffic and assists customers with parking access.
• Prepares parking lots based on event contracts and needs.
• Monitors lot capacity and oversees inventory and supplies.
• Completes schedules for parking attendants and attends weekly meetings.
• Performs minor repairs on parking equipment.
• Responds to inquiries and resolves issues from the public.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
