Job summary

MinIO in Oregon is seeking an organized Events Specialist to coordinate US trade shows, regional events, and developer meetups. You will manage logistics, staffing, lead capture, and post-event reporting to support the Field Marketing & Events program.

The role requires 2–4 years of event experience, strong attention to detail, and willingness to travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with the Director of Field Marketing & Events and cross-functional teams to ensure successful events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of event experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to travel up to ~25% depending on event calendar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and vendors for US trade shows and marquee events, including booth build, shipping, and on-site setup/teardown.
• Build and manage on-site staffing schedules and shift coverage for US events.
• Run lead and badge-scan operations at events.
• Set up and manage post-event follow-up flows (email sequences, SFDC lead routing).
• Draft first-pass post-event reports using standardized formats.
• Support logistics for US regional events (executive dinners, happy hours, activations).
• Support Community/Developer event logistics in the US (meetups, developer events).
• Track event budgets against actuals and flag discrepancies.
• Provide general administrative support to the Director of Field Marketing & Events.
