Job summary

Back Market in Paris is seeking an Events Operations Apprentice to join our fast-paced team. You will assist in designing and executing campaigns and activations globally, handling planning, logistics, and on-site execution.

You’ll learn event production, budget tracking, post-event learnings, and help produce in-house content and small productions in Paris, with collaboration in French and English.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a French work-study program (alternance / apprentissage).
• Interest in events, branding, and creative culture.
• Bilingual French and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, logistics, and budgeting for external events from A to Z.
• Coordinate run tasks, sourcing, and troubleshooting.
• Create post-event reports and learnings.
• Support in producing in-house brand content and small productions.
• Handle shipping logistics and production tasks (in Paris).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Events & Brand experience team, we design and execute Back Market’s most creative campaigns and physical activations across the globe. From large-scale events like BackForum to limited-budget campaigns, we bring Back Market’s voice to life both offline and online.

To support this mission, we’re looking for an Events Operations Apprentice to join our fast-paced team.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):

1. Event Production & Operations

• Assist in organizing external events from A to Z: planning, briefing, logistics, budget tracking, and execution.

• Be the go-to support for “run” tasks, sourcing, and project troubleshooting.

• Contribute to creating post-event reports, wrap-ups, and learnings.

2. Low-Budget Productions

• Help produce brand content and goodies in-house with limited resources (without agency support).

• Handle shipping logistics, coordination, and production tasks (examples: influencers' events at the Future Club, small productions of PR dinners in Paris…)

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF:

• A team player, curious and adaptable, with a strong sense of initiative.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Passionate about events, branding, and creative culture.

• Comfortable working in both French & English (written and spoken).

• Ready to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Bonus point if you already had an international experience, and/or if you have already completed an internship/work-study program in event management, or as a production assistant.

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP:

• Starting date: January 2027

• Duration: Ideally for 12 months (24 months to be discussed).

• Location: Paris, France

• Contract: You must already be enrolled in a work-study program in a French school (contrat d'alternance / d'apprentissage)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

1. Technical Interview with the manager (45 mins)

2. Cultural fit interview With a member of the team (30 min)

3. Case study (Home assignement/Case preparation)

4. Video-call Interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (30min)
