Renewal by Andersen of St. Louis in Memphis, TN is seeking an Events Marketing Manager responsible for turning field event opportunities into qualified appointments.

You will lead a team of appointment setters, coach and develop staff, coordinate with the Marketing Manager and Business Development, and ensure events deliver strong ROI. The work week runs Wednesday through Sunday based on event needs; travel across the Memphis territory is required.

Events Marketing Manager - Renewal by Andersen | Memphis, TN

This is a revenue driving field event executor and team building role. This position is ultimately responsible for turning our event non-traditional marketing opportunities into qualified appointments. You’ll manage execution to ensure our team members are prepared to deliver an engaging customer experience while ensuring our brand is professionally represented at every event. You will also lead, coach and develop team members, while partnering closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Development staff to ensure event productivity, return on investment and staffing needs are met. The work week for this role is Wednesday through Sunday based on event business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Event Execution
  • Manage and distribute necessary event displays & supplies for team members.
  • Ensure marketing locations are equipped, branded and set up for successful execution.
  • Coordination of events to include logistics, staffing needs and event coverage.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager & Business Development team to ensure qualified events and quality locations to drive productivity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venues, and community partners
• People Leadership - events appointment-setters
  • Set clear expectations and performance standards.
  • Coach, develop and motivate setters.
  • Build accountability while maintaining a strong team culture.
  • Create a high-performing, engaging environment.
  • Timely communication of any personnel issues or performance gaps to Marketing Manager
  • Maintain a consistent field presence through event site visits
  • Help recruit high potential appointment setters
• Performance & Productivity
  • Maximize appointments generated through events (volume, productivity, quality)
  • Monitor individual and team performance.
  • Identify trends and take corrective action quickly.
  • Evaluate locations and events based on appointments and ROI, not just activity.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager on events and staffing needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and Business Develop team on event needs, locations, challenges, opportunities and post-event feedback.
• Communicate results, challenges and opportunities to Marketing Manager

Requirements:

• 1-year previous leadership experience in field marketing, sales, face-to-face lead generation, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing locations and priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees, business partners, vendors, and leadership.
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced field environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Memphis territory.

• Availability to support field marketing programs during evenings and weekends as business needs require. Work week is Wednesday – Sunday. Manager on call during weekends.
