The Williamsburg Winery is seeking an Events Manager to oversee events across the estate, from inquiry to on-site execution, including the restaurant, Pavilion, halls, wine cellar, Wedmore Place, and other spaces. You’ll collaborate with culinary, hospitality, and operations teams to ensure flawless events and superior guest experiences.

The role requires coordinating vendors, staff, timelines, and budgets while maintaining high standards of service.

Formación

• Minimum of two years of experience in event management.
• Event sales and contract experience required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines with professionalism and composure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate private events across all indoor and outdoor spaces from inquiry to execution.
• Maintain contracts, room blocks, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Distribute BEOs three weeks before events and communicate updates to departments.
• Coordinate staffing, setup, breakdown, equipment, and event logistics.
• Create and manage event timelines and floor plans.
• Manage event inquiries and guide clients from contact through booking.
• Supervise front-of-house event staff and ensure guest service.
