Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating large-scale events, conferences, and social gatherings.
• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years in event management or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and collaborating with other curators and departments.
• Greet customers during the event phase and hand off to Event Operations for execution of details.
• Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures billing accuracy and reviews final bills with clients.
• Manages group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized groups.
• Identify operational challenges and develop solutions with staff and customers.
• Integrate current trends in event management and design.
• Liaise between field salesperson and customer throughout the event process.
• Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Solicit feedback from departments to identify areas for improvement in events.
