Job summary

The Ricardo Marriott DFW Westlake is seeking an experienced Events Manager to guide clients from contract turnover through event execution. You will coordinate venues, menus, AV, and timelines, building trusted relationships with planners and corporate clients.

On-site leadership ensures flawless events and post-event follow-up, delivering unmatched moments for guests. Qualifications include a hospitality/event degree and proven planning experience across corporate meetings, weddings, and group

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in hospitality, events, or related field.
• Experience planning corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
• Strong knowledge of event operations, banquet service, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through planning from contract turnover through event completion.
• Build relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, wedding couples, and social-event hosts.
• Create accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders, diagrams, resumes, timelines, and other event documents.
• Coordinate guest-room blocks, meeting spaces, menus, audiovisual needs, billing, transportation, and special requests.
• Lead pre-convention and planning meetings to prepare hotel teams for success.
• Ensure menus, service timing, staffing, room setups, and event flow meet client expectations.
• Oversee on-site events, monitor execution, and respond quickly to needs.
