Job summary

Left Field Brewery Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Events to lead on-site activations, coordinate external and internal events, and drive guest engagement at multiple locations.

You will manage brand ambassadors, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Marketing, Tap Room, and Kitchen teams to deliver high-impact experiences. The role requires a flexible, leadership-oriented candidate with a passion for beer, strong communication, and the ability to manage忙ey schedules.

Qualifications

• G class drivers license and clean driving record are mandatory.
• Smart Serve & Retail Alcohol Sales certification required.
• Food Handlers Certificate (can be completed after hiring).
• Flexible availability including weekends, mornings, evenings; schedule not fixed.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• A leader able to motivate, inspire and coach a team.
• Time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Google Workspace tools.
• Familiarity with Ekos, Eventbrite and Toast Tables is an asset.
• Independent and accountable with strong customer service.
• Strong beer knowledge and passion for great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of on-site event activations and lead brand ambassadors.
• Greet guests and provide exceptional service at events.
• Educate consumers about brands, brewing process and Left Field Brewery.
• Coordinate with organizers to troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Handle sampling and sale of beer; assist food sales when needed.
• Prepare and manage pop-up kitchen operations and stock.
• Create event briefs and post-event reports; assist with budgeting and inventory.
• Support internal and external events across both locations.
• Maintain organized event files, calendars and promotional needs.
• Cover shifts and support FOH teams during events.
