Job summary

Portland Sports Complex is seeking an Events Team Member to deliver outstanding guest experiences at our Portland, TX venue. You will handle ticketing, registrations, and information services while supporting event coordination and daily operations.

As part of the OPERATIONS team, you will assist with scheduling, inventory, and party coordination, ensuring smooth event execution and guest satisfaction in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide first-in-class guest service.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred or quick study.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
• Register guests for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-ins, etc.
• Operate multi-line phones and record event information.
• Record and file waivers and event scores; print game sheets daily.
• Resolve guest concerns and direct to the appropriate Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of facility programs and policies.
• Support party planning and event setup coordination.
• Communicate clearly with on-duty managers, attendants, and hosts.
