Job summary

The Spur Expo at East Texas A&M Agricultural Center and Arena in Commerce, TX is seeking an Events Team Member. This part-time, non-exempt role provides frontline guest service for tournaments and events, including ticketing, waivers, and party coordination.

The team member supports operational flow and guest experience across games and activities. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with registrations, coordinating party details, and maintaining event records.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong guest service skills with a courteous demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide information, and assist with wayfinding.
• Handle event ticketing, wristbands, registrations and waivers.
• Record event scores and print game sheets daily.
• Assist with event coordination, scheduling, and setup for parties.
• Maintain inventory of party supplies and distribute collateral materials.
• Support social marketing and ensure guest satisfaction and timely communication.
