Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking an events coordinator to manage trade shows, conventions, and experiential activations. You will plan booth layouts, coordinate vendors, track budgets, and ensure on-site execution meets our brand standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of events support experience, a valid driver’s license and passport, and willingness to travel. We offer health insurance, 401(k) matching, vacation, holidays, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, or events.
• Calm under pressure and able to pivot quickly.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Self-starter with operational mindset and collaboration across teams.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines for multiple events.
• Coordinate all event needs with vendors (signage, utilities, furniture, décor).
• Track costs and report financial concerns promptly.
• Keep event costs within budget and flag risks to Event Director.
• Plan details and anticipate problems for smooth execution.
• Create booth/room layouts with traffic flow and utilities.
• Travel to manage events onsite as needed.
• Audit event websites for accuracy of show information and pricing.
• Model company policies, including safety, attendance, and security.
