The Sports Facilities Advisory & Management is seeking an Events Coordinator for the Hoover Met Complex in Hoover, AL. The role supports Event Managers, planning and executing a variety of events, while delivering top-notch service and event management.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, generating proposals and contracts, and maintaining facility schedules. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
• Experience supervising part-time staff preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning and execution of events at the venue.
• Provide supervision and be available for non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Create and maintain reports and billing for events.
• Coordinate staffing for events and manage event logistics.
• Maintain facilities and support administrative tasks as needed.
