Job summary

Findlay Market is seeking an Event Associate to plan, coordinate, and execute public and private events. The role supports the market’s mission by delivering welcoming, organized experiences for guests, partners, and vendors in Cincinnati.

The position is full-time, year-round with a 40-hour week; hours vary with events, typically Tue–Sat, with additional evenings or Sundays as needed. Reports to the Event and Program Manager and collaborates with the Communications Team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a personable, welcoming approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and private events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute public and private events at Findlay Market.
• Work with merchants, vendors, and community partners to create engaging experiences.
• Maintain event plans, timelines, and vendor communications.
• Prepare post-event recaps with attendance, expenses, and feedback.
• Provide on-site event support including logistics and guest services.
• Represent Findlay Market in media events and community engagement.
