Job summary

Montage International in Big Sky, MT, is seeking a proactive Banquet Operations team member to support meetings, weddings, and events on site. You will prepare materials, assist with shipping, and ensure signage and room setups meet planners’ expectations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 1–2 years in a hotel or resort environment.
• Must have at least 2 years’ customer service experience.
• Must have 1 year event planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all meeting materials for pre-conference meetings.
• Assisting with shipping and receiving of event materials or equipment.
• Assisting banquets with refreshing all conference spaces.
• Making all necessary signage for guests and meeting planners.
• Ensuring all requests in Banquet Event Orders are delivered.
• Directing guests to correct event areas and functions.
• Assisting guests and meeting planners with any special requests.
• Assisting with proper delivery of amenities.
• Communicating with Purchasing/Delivery Department regarding shipping and receiving of group boxes.
• Posting proper group charges to correct master accounts.
• Act as a liaison between Meeting Planner, Event Management, Banquet Culinary team and the service staff.
• Manage Banquet Department administrative functions.
