Teachers Federal Credit Union in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Events Specialist to support Membership Development and Community Affairs by coordinating event logistics, inventory, and program execution.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate preferred), 1 year of experience, valid NYS driver’s license, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Point. You will manage shipments, vendor coordination, and monthly Salesforce activity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of general work experience required.
• Valid NYS driver’s license required.
• May drive a company vehicle to local branches, partner locations and event sites.
• Moderate analytical, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for lead-generating events, including ticket requests, distribution, delivery, setup, breakdown, and return of promotional materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and storage areas for Membership Development and Community Affairs across regions.
• Keep storage rooms organized and stocked.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Receive incoming deliveries, verify orders, and stock inventory; report damages or discrepancies.
• Locate requested inventory items and maintain usage records.
• Support implementation of Membership Development and Community Affairs programs and partnerships.
• Organize, schedule, and book logistics for events including pre/post activities.
• Provide support for internal events and leadership meetings.
• Assist with vendor coordination and day-to-day event support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet event needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
