Job summary

Oaklawn seeks a Marketing Manager to coordinate Oaklawn's presence at events where Oaklawn participates or sponsors. This role maintains marketing materials and brand standards across Oaklawn offices and supports the marketing team with social media and digital media management to raise awareness.

The position provides additional support to marketing staff as needed. The ideal candidate has two years of college coursework, experience in event management and social media, and graphic design

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework completed.
• Experience with event management and social media desired.
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Two years of experience working in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing goals and objectives.
• Provides support to Oaklawn Marketing and Development teams for all Oaklawn events.
• Coordinates with sponsorship partners to leverage opportunities and provide logos, ads, banners, or onsite presence.
• Coordinates physical presence or participation at community sponsored events and staffs as needed.
• Secures and supplies marketing materials, giveaways, banners, and related setup items for events.
• Uses Oaklawn's social media platforms to increase visibility for supported efforts.
• Coordinates with Public Relations for newsworthy events and sponsorships.
• Plans Oaklawn events including pre-event reservations and registrations and onsite staffing as needed.
• Maintains brand standards, signage, and brochure racks at Oaklawn offices and locations.
• Coordinates with Oaklawn print shop for printing and delivery of marketing materials.
• Monitors online reputation platforms to respond to reviews and survey comments.
• Monitors website inquiries and forwards them to the appropriate leader.
• Creates monthly Leadership Forum meeting agenda, runs virtual meetings, and records minutes.
