Apartment Life conventional coordinators create an excellent experience for residents and staff in an apartment community! They are passionate about AL's vision and mission, planning engaging events, providing personal communication, and offering acts of genuine care and hospitality—ultimately impacting the community and residents' lives.

A coordinator's work can be summed up with three words: Care, Connect, and Call.

• CARE for people in their community
• CONNECT them in relationships
• CALL others to do the same

Important Details

• Our roles are unique. Please review the differences between Onsite and Offsite coordinators and the conventional program page on our website.
• Onsite coordinators serve 16-20 hours/week, living onsite for some time; Offsite coordinators serve 3-9 hours/week without living at the community. Compensation is $18-20/hour.
• You may submit a LinkedIn profile, resume, or cover letter, but it's not required.

Apartment Life coordinators serve by:

• Planning and hosting 2-4 monthly events to care for and connect residents, and promote local businesses.
• Providing a caring touch through community support and online reputation enhancement.
• Managing monthly calendars, event marketing, budgets, and meetings with staff and program directors.
• Engaging volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact.
• Visiting new residents post-move-in and residents nearing lease end to foster connections.

Impactful coordinators are:

• Relational: Enjoy meeting people, networking, and planning social activities; authentic, empathetic, and communicative.
• Event Planners: Design engaging events and create lively atmospheres.
• Available: Able to host events and visit residents during evenings and weekends.
• Financially Responsible: Trustworthy with budgets.
• Oriented towards business-with-a-cause: Balancing excellence in business with serving neighbors.

Must:

• Be 18+ years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (at least one team member).
• Have basic English fluency for marketing and reports.
• Possess a driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Be physically able to perform duties (stairs, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs).
• Have weekly availability and commit to the program duration.
