The Apartment Life Coordinator, Neighborhood Services will be responsible for executing the service plan of Apartment Life’s (AL) onsite program. This leader will be passionate about AL's vision and mission, aiming to build community, provide programming, and enhance resident experiences.

This position reports to the Program Management leader and works closely with the onsite management team. Responsibilities include engaging residents through community activities and providing reports on program impact.

Important Details

  • The community is located in Princeton, TX.
  • This is a living onsite role, approximately 15-18 hours per week, with activities in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Compensation is in the form of discounted rent in a luxury two-bedroom townhome. This is not a paid position.

Service Coordination

  • Coordinate with local partners for quality community programs.
  • Complete monthly service requirements, including planning activities, resident visits, and online engagement.
  • Provide excellent resident service with kindness and creativity.
  • Communicate regularly with onsite staff.
  • Meet biweekly with AL supervisor to discuss progress.
  • Oversee activities and ensure they run smoothly.
  • Report monthly on program impact.

Responsibilities

Stewardship involves working with nonprofits, churches, and businesses to implement the service plan. Core responsibilities include:

  • Aligning decisions with Apartment Life's values.
  • Contributing to regional goals in recruitment, growth, and partnerships.
  • Managing administration effectively and maintaining integrity in resident relationships and program access.

Background, Experience, and Education

  • 2+ years in outreach or ministry helpful but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to coordinate with local businesses.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Flexible service hours.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Be 18+ years old.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English for communication and reports.
  • Possess a driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Availability for weekly hours and commitment to the community.
  • Own a computer and personal phone for communication and reporting.
