Job summary

CHJ Event Productions seeks dependable, professional Event Staff to support weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, and other special events at a contracted venue in Downtown Goldsboro, NC.

The position is part-time / event-based with evenings and weekends predominating. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with opportunities for additional responsibilities and advancement within the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including venue items.
• Support guest arrival, directions, seating, and needs.

• Help with cleanup and resetting spaces after events.
• Follow venue policies and safety procedures.

Event Staff / Venue Event Associate

CHJ Event Productions is seeking dependable, professional, and energetic Event Staff to support weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, and other special events at one of our contracted venue locations.

This is a hands on event position for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help create a smooth and memorable guest experience. Event staff will work directly with the CHJ Event Productions team and venue management to assist with event setup, guest support, event operations, and breakdown.

Responsibilities Include

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, venue signage, and other event related items.
• Help prepare the venue before guests arrive and ensure event spaces remain clean and organized throughout the event
• Assist with guest arrival, directions, seating, and general guest needs
• Assist vendors with designated load in and load out procedures
• Help monitor event spaces and notify the event manager of any issues or guest needs
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the event
• Assist with cleanup and resetting spaces following the event
• Follow venue policies, safety procedures, and instructions from CHJ Event Productions leadership
• Perform additional event related duties as needed
