Job summary

Print Works Bistro in Greensboro, NC is seeking friendly and energetic Event Servers to join our team of restaurant professionals who deliver outstanding experiences in a fast-paced setting.

As part of Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels, you will set up event spaces, serve guests with prompt, attentive service, and collaborate with event leadership to ensure timely and polished execution while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service during events.
• Anticipate guests' needs and wow at every opportunity.
• Set up event spaces per diagrams with tables, chairs, tableware, and AV.
• Serve events following established systems and procedures.
• Break down events and ensure gear is stored and space cleaned.
• Coordinate with event leadership for timing and guest flow.
• Maintain knowledge of event menus and offerings.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies.

What are the responsibilities of an Event Server?

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service while ensuring that each guest has a delightful experience
• Anticipate the event guests’ needs proactively by noticing opportunities to wow each guest
• Ensure that the event space is set up according to the event diagram including setting up the tables, chairs, tableware, flowers, A/V, food and beverages and all other guest requested items
• Serve each event following the established systems and procedures
• Break down each event after the guest has left making sure that all A/V is properly stored and the event space is clean
• Collaborate with the event leadership throughout the event regarding appropriate timing so that our guests receive prompt, friendly service at the time that is best for their event
• Be flexible and act with a sense of urgency as events require both
• Maintain a working knowledge of event menus and offerings
• Communicate clearly to our guests and fellow staff members and be the
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with our guests
• Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times
• Advocate for and follow our responsible alcohol beverage service program
