Job summary

Belmont University is seeking a qualified Venue Operations Crew member to support the Office of Strategic Venues and Event Services in preparing venues for events and handling teardown afterward. You'll work 37.5 hours weekly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, following safety procedures and campus protocols.

Previous theater or event setup experience is helpful, with a High School diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training or degree preferred.
• Entry level role; no prior work experience required.
• Background check and E-Verify compliance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down event spaces, tents, tables and chairs.
• Load/unload trucks and transport materials between campus spaces.
• Maintain clean and organized venues and supply storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliant setups.
• Coordinate with event managers and staff for smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
