Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking an energetic Venue Operations Crew member to support the Stadium/Arena during events at the Jon M Huntsman Center and Rice-Eccles Stadium. Duties include heavy lifting, cleaning, equipment setup and tear-down, and ensuring facility rules and client requirements are met.

Hours are full-time with day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. A minimum of 3+ years of related experience is required, with opportunities to work across campus locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Equivalency statement allows higher education to substitute for work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cleaning duties: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom and window cleaning, and seating maintenance.
• Assist in event setup/teardown: tables, chairs, equipment, barricades, and other furnishings.
• Provide on-site support during events: restrooms, spills, waste removal, and equipment teardown/setup.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping tools and supplies, report irregularities promptly.
• Support post-event cleaning and safety compliance as required.
