Legends Global is seeking a Security Officer for on-site assignment at Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. The role requires public safety experience, strong customer service, and the ability to manage crowds during events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of public safety or security experience.
• Customer service background or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Good communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with the public and professionally handle confrontational situations.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including weekends and nights.
• Some knowledge of computers and electronics.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned posts and surrounding areas to ensure safety of the facility, employees, guests, clients, and visitors.
• Responds to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, alarms, and other situations requiring Public Safety involvement.
• Assists with crowd management, access control, line control, and enforcement of facility rules during events and daily operations.
• Conducts routine interior and exterior property patrols and identifies safety, security, or maintenance concerns.
• Locks and unlocks facility doors, gates, offices, and operational areas as required by event and building schedules.
• Maintains awareness of emergency exits, evacuation procedures, fire alarm systems, and safety protocols.
• Provides customer service and general assistance to guests, including directions and event information.
• Communicates effectively via two-way radio, telephone, and in-person with staff, management, responders, and the public.
