Job summary

AEG is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure venue functionality before, during, and after events. You will handle painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs to keep facilities performing at peak levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Organized with previous supervision experience.
• Experience in proper cleaning solutions and overall repair/maintenance.
• HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, event and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects including carpet repair/cleaning, painting, elevator repair, bathroom upkeep, and HVAC, electrical and plumbing work.
• Maintain all facility equipment in good working condition as directed by the Manager.
• Inspect facility systems to detect malfunctions and determine repair solutions.
• Help develop standard procedures for venue cleanliness and upkeep of assets.
• Assist with purchasing work materials as needed or directed.
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners according to venue event schedules.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on repair and maintenance work and assist with production setup as needed.
