AEG Presents in Nashville is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure venue functionality before, during, and after events. You will perform cleaning, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs, coordinating with vendors and supervising part-time cleaners.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, system inspections, and adherence to safety standards. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is needed to align with event schedules.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years related work experience.
• Organized with prior supervisory experience.
• Experience with cleaning solutions and repairs.
• HVAC experience a plus.
• Electrical and plumbing knowledge; NEC knowledge a plus.
• Able to meet tight deadlines in high‑pressure environments.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Able to climb, crawl, bend and stoop.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Overview

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the functionality of the venue prior, during, and after concerts and events. The role involves performing various maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and construction tasks to keep the venue in its best condition. The specialist oversees daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled cleaning and various assigned maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, event and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects, including carpet repair/cleaning, interior and exterior painting, elevator repair, bathroom maintenance, air‑conditioning and heating upkeep, electrical and plumbing work, and other required repairs.
• Execute duties directed by the Manager to keep all facility equipment in good working condition.
• Inspect systems throughout the facility to detect malfunctions and devise repair solutions.
• Participate in developing standard procedures for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the venue and its assets.
• Assist with purchasing work materials as needed or directed.
• Schedule and supervise part‑time cleaners in accordance with the venue event schedule.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repair and maintenance work, build set props and decorations, and assist with production advancement as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Organized with previous supervisory experience.
• Experience in proper cleaning solutions and overall repair/maintenance.
• HVAC experience a plus.
• Immediate knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing systems; National Electrical Code knowledge a plus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high‑pressure environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Payscale: $25 – $30

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
