Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure venue functionality before, during, and after events. You will perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and construction while overseeing cleaning and ongoing upkeep to keep the venue at its best.

The role requires knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Electrical and plumbing knowledge required; NEC knowledge a plus.
• Organized with previous supervision experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules for the venue.
• Inspect systems to detect malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Assist in purchasing work materials and scheduling part‑time cleaners.
• Supervise venue staff aligned to event schedules.
