Job summary

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is seeking a Traffic Field Supervisor to oversee on-call Traffic Attendants, Cashiers and Supervisors during events. You will ensure paid parking operations align with show activity, maintain barricade plans, and coordinate with engineering and signage teams to complete work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of traffic-related experience.
• One-year supervisory experience desired.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Workforce (Time and Attendance) and mobile POS system is a plus.
• Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and maintain it during employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, management and ambassadors.
• Commitment to valuing differences and inclusivity.
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the on-call Traffic Attendants, Cashiers and Supervisors.
• Ensure pre-determined traffic plans and paid parking operations meet show activity needs.
• Establish, coordinate, and implement barricade set plans, fencing, and signage.
• Coordinate with Exterior Engineering, Services and Sign Shop to complete event work orders.
• Identify training needs and mentor ambassadors; update training material.
• Address complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure ambassadors maintain customer service excellence standards.
• Identify competencies to support growth and advancement.
• Maintain traffic equipment and tools.
