Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sales Associate to qualify leads and manage the Event Technology Sales process for events of all sizes, with a special focus on events under $5K in revenue. The role emphasizes delivering an excellent customer experience, optimizing efficiencies, and maximizing revenue per opportunity.

The position supports lead importing, order entry, opportunity management, and customer follow-up, working within an office-based centralized sales environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA is preferred or 1+ years of sales/event experience.
• Prior technology, sales, hospitality, or event planning experience a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills needed to effectively solicit and close business via phone/email.

Responsibilities

• Lead import/distribution for Venue complexes to determine ownership of Lead.
• Directly sell smaller events such as BEO bookings, exhibitors, affiliate business, and ICW events.
• Direct qualified leads to EventNow and assist the online customer experience.
• Close business by obtaining commitment to buy while maximizing revenue and adhering to event profit guidelines.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and respond to customer requests via phone, chat, or email.
