Job summary

Legends Long Beach Amphitheater leads a Dishwasher Lead role to supervise stewarding during concerts, games and private events. You will oversee staffing, coordinate assignments, and ensure timely cleaning and setup of dishware, glassware, and equipment to support fast-paced operations.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll manage inventory, enforce health and safety standards, and keep back-of-house running smoothly during high-volume events.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of stewarding or kitchen operations experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and workplace safety practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale events and fast-paced service environments.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding operations during events, including games, concerts, and special functions.
• Coordinate staffing and assignments based on event schedules and projected volume.
• Ensure timely cleaning, resetting, and distribution of dishware, glassware, flatware, and equipment.
• Support culinary and catering teams to maintain smooth back-of-house operations during peak service times.
• Monitor dishwashing processes, chemical usage, and PPE; oversee post-event breakdown and reset.
