This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic event environment while collaborating with event supervisors, venue management, and public safety partners. Ideal candidates take pride in treating guests with respect, applying policies consistently, and helping ensure events run smoothly from start to finish. Whether screening attendees, monitoring secure areas, or assisting with access control, your work will play a vital role in protecting guests, performers, staff, and the overall event experience.

  • Guest Services & Wayfinding: Welcome guests; provide directions, seating assistance, and ADA support; resolve routine questions and complaints with empathy and professionalism. Incident Observation & Reporting: Recognize concerning behavior (impairment, disorderly conduct, medical needs); notify control/dispatch; complete concise incident statements as directed. Emergency Readiness: Follow staff movement and guest communication directions during alarms, evacuations, or shelter-in-place; support ADA evacuations per plan. Professional Presence: Maintain assigned post; uphold service standards; keep areas tidy; support opening and close-out checklists.
  • Entry Screening Operations: Set up/verify magnetometer calibration and lane configuration per supervisor direction. Conduct screening with professionalism and consistency; use secondary wanding as required. Execute bag checks in view of CCTV when possible; apply bag-size and contents policy; manage divest tables. Enforce prohibited-items policy; follow refusal, surrender, or denial-of-entry procedures and document as directed. Queue & Throughput Management: Stage stanchions/signage; meter guest flow to maintain target throughput while preserving screening quality. Triage VIP/ADA/issue lines; coordinate with ticketing to resolve exceptions quickly.
  • Credential & Access Control (Back of House): Validate credentials at docks, tunnels, stage doors, and production corridors; deny access when not authorized; log deliveries and vendor check-ins. Monitor Back of House for propped doors and unknown persons or property. Report security breaches as directed.
  • Incident Response & Coordination: Notify control/dispatch; preserve scenes as directed; write clear factual statements (who/what/when/where). Support ejections and welfare checks as directed by Supervisors; always prioritize safety and de-escalation.
  • Asset & Information Protection: Maintain discretion regarding talent movement and production details; challenge unknown persons politely.
  • Compliance & Professional Standards: Follow search/screening and privacy protocols; treat all guests with dignity and impartiality. Maintain chain-of-custody procedures for surrendered items as instructed.
