Allied Universal Event Services is hiring event staff for Washington venues, including university events, with flexible part-time shifts and weekly pay. The role focuses on ticket collection, guest welcome and ushering, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position emphasizes safety, crowd management, and maintaining clean, efficient spaces during events. Training is provided, and shifts are designed to fit students, retirees, or anyone seeking a dynamic part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; Driver’s Record check may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Demonstrate understanding of policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Greet guests in a genuine, friendly and personal manner at entrances and a sincere thank you on departure.
• Provide guests with directions or suggestions to enhance their experience.
