LAZ Parking is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff to support Boston College events and other local events. You will help ensure safety and a positive guest experience, greet attendees, assist in parking areas, and help with setup and cashiering as needed.

Flexibility is required, including nights and weekends. The role demands clear communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stay composed in busy environments. Competitive hourly pay and a dynamic event atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet attendees by name, respond promptly to inquiries, and resolve issues with a caring attitude.

• Guide customers entering parking facilities to ensure smooth access and exit.
• Promote premier customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude.

Kick off the season by joining the LAZ Parking Events Team!We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for Boston College Events, as well as additional events id available. As a member of our Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of exciting events and to contribute to a positive guest experience. Flexibility in availability, including nights and weekends, is required. Principal Job Duties:

• Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic.
• Lifting equipment and setting up for events both inside and outside event spaces.
• Flag customers into parking facilities and surfaces lots creating a simple and effective entrance and exit for customers.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards.
• Must work with or without supervision.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
• Communicate any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to management.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
