Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Event Operations Manager to build, scale, and operationalize the Event Shared Services organization across multiple SBGs. You will implement governance, planning frameworks, and standardized SOPs to ensure consistent event delivery.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Event Shared Services, this hybrid role will be based at our Charlotte, NC headquarters or Atlanta, GA, and requires travel 15-25% as needed to support enterprise-scale events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in event operations, program management, marketing operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale event programs and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to build and implement operational processes and governance models.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency with event management, project management, and collaboration tools (e.g., Cvent).
• Travel between 15-25%, depending on event portfolio and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes that enable a centralized Event Shared Services model.
• Establish and maintain event intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and governance frameworks.
• Develop standardized operating procedures, templates, playbooks, and workflows that support event execution across all SBGs.
• Ensure consistent adoption of event management standards, policies, and best practices.
• Drive process optimization initiatives that improve scale, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Act as a primary operational liaison between the Event Shared Services team and Strategic Business Groups (SBGs).
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, executive engagement, communications, finance, procurement, and legal teams to support event delivery.
• Align stakeholder expectations, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements across multiple concurrent programs.
• Facilitate regular business reviews and planning sessions to assess priorities and operational readiness.
