Job summary

Gas South District is seeking an Events Support Associate to help ensure event spaces are prepared to meet client specifications. You will assist with room changes, stage and furniture setup, and operate light equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers, completing tasks to tight schedules, and staying alert to safety and property concerns. This role requires adaptability, reliability, and clear communication, often outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 months related experience.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the room changeover for events, including setting up/tearing down stages, tables, chairs and related furnishings.
• Assist building engineers and subcontractors with construction, repair and maintenance tasks.
• Report safety issues or property concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse group and work independently or in a team.
