Job summary

Hyatt Regency Austin is seeking an Event Set-Up Houseperson (PM) for a full-time, on-site role in downtown Austin, TX. The position is hourly, with USD pay, and requires open availability including afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

You will set up and break down meeting spaces, move chairs and tables, and assist the Banquets/Events team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Open availability required.
• Experience in Hotels, Convention Centers, Warehouses preferred.
• Good communication and comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift a moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting spaces with tables, chairs and water.
• Maintain clear communication and safety during events.
• Assist in fast-paced environment and support Banquets/Events team.
