Job summary

Hyatt Regency Austin is seeking an Event Set-Up Houseperson (PM) for a full-time, on-site role in downtown Austin, TX. The position is hourly, with USD pay, and requires open availability including afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

You will set up and break down meeting spaces, move chairs and tables, and assist the Banquets/Events team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Open availability required.
• Experience in Hotels, Convention Centers, Warehouses preferred.
• Good communication and comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift a moderate weight.

Responsibilities

We are in search of a dedicated and reliable Event Set-Up Horseperson tojoin our fantastic Banquets/Events team!

The Event Set-Up Houseperson is primarily responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, push and pull moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.

Open availability including Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays is required for this position.
