Job summary

The Biltmore Company in Reserve, LA is seeking an Event Work Crew II to assist in the setup and breakdown of Special Events, including illumination, concerts, exhibitions, and corporate events during peak seasons. This part-time role focuses on delivering a world-class guest experience through careful preparation and on-site support.

Responsibilities include operating a box truck, rigging decor, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety and quality on arrival.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year in event/setup or illumination preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and execute instructions.
• Attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.
• Good time management and ability to multi-task.
• Proactive and judgment-driven.
• Able to work in a dynamic guest environment and interact with guests/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and breakdown of events (illumination, exhibitions, concerts).
• Operate a box truck safely.
• Provide friendly, professional service to internal customers and guests.
• Set up rental equipment and verify quality matches standards.
• Follow work orders via email/phone/directions.
• Rig decor and lighting up to 25lbs.
• Power setup up to 20 amps.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment as needed.
• Work at heights using ladders or lifts.
