BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer for Nationwide Arena in Columbus. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college is a plus.
• Previous event security or related field experience is advantageous.
• Strong physical fitness with ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and with diverse individuals.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a valid security license or ability to obtain one if required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence in accordance with client and company standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, screen entrants.
• Respond to security incidents or medical emergencies promptly.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Provide customer service by assisting attendees and giving directions.
• Report security occurrences to supervisors and relevant personnel.
• Document activities observed or performed and submit to leadership.
• Uphold company policies and security procedures.
