Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Nashville, TN is seeking part-time Event Security personnel to support crowds at sports venues, concerts, and festivals. The role emphasizes reliable customer service, access control, and safety, with shifts in the evenings and weekends.

A TN Guard Card is required or training provided during the hiring process. Starting pay is $17/hr with weekly pay and a flexible schedule designed for students, parents, or those seeking extra income.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access by screening tickets/ wristbands; direct attendees.
• Screen guests at entry via bag search, hand wand or metal detector, and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff and venue assets by monitoring for breaches.
• Respond to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies and regulations relevant to events.
• Provide directions and assistance to guests to enhance their experience.
