Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Nashville, TN is hiring part-time Event Security to support concerts, sports and events. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Condition of employment includes a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry into venues, verify wristbands, badges, and tickets as applicable.
• Screen guests during entry using bag searches, wand, or metal detector; verify IDs as required.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches at key checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand and apply venue, facility, and event policies and regulations.
• Provide a positive guest experience as guests arrive at entrances or concourse areas.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
