Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security to help manage crowds at sports venues, concerts and festivals. The role focuses on bag checks, access control and delivering excellent guest service. Starting rate is $15.50/hour with weekly pay and flexible schedules.

The position requires screening at entry, enforcing policies, and maintaining safety while offering a positive guest experience. 18+ with HS diploma and the ability to pass background checks is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test; may require additional screening if driving.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access and verify tickets, wristbands, and badges.
• Screen guests at entry with bag checks, wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security issues.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow policies and regulations for various venues and events.
• Provide guests with directions and enhance their entertainment experience.
