Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking part-time Event Security staff to support Big Easy festivals, concerts, and sporting events in New Orleans. You will check bags, enforce access control, and deliver friendly service while ensuring guest safety and a positive experience.

Starting pay is $15.50/hour with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training and growth within a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access and verify tickets, bags, wristbands, and badges.
• Screen guests at entry with bag checks, wand or detector.
• Protect guests, staff, and property by monitoring for security issues.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Follow venue policies and procedures to ensure safe experiences.
• Provide directions and support to enhance guests' event experience.
