Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking part-time Event Security staff for New Orleans and major events, including sports, concerts, festivals, and conventions. You will check bags, enforce access control, and uphold safety while delivering excellent guest service.

Starting rate is $15.50 per hour with weekly pay and opportunities to earn additional income. Enjoy a flexible schedule, guard card assistance, and ongoing training to help you advance in the event services team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Ability to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Direct venue entry, verify tickets and wristbands, and manage access control.
• Screen guests with bag checks, hand wand or metal detector and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Provide escorts for unruly guests when needed.
• Communicate directions to enhance guest experience.
