Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in New Orleans is seeking part-time Event Security staff to support major events, concerts, and venues. The role focuses on crowd safety, access control, and delivering excellent guest service at various high-energy events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test required; additional screening may be required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Manage entry into venues, scan tickets, verify wristbands/badges, direct entry/exit traffic.
• Screen guests via bag search, hand wand, or metal detector, and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring security checkpoints for breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies, procedures, and regulations for different events.
• Provide directions and assistance to guests to enhance their experience.
