BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Staff & Security professional to join at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. The role blends event staffing with security duties to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for attendees.

You will need strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a background in security or related fields preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum age 18, depending on local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and with diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain one where required.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Assist with event setup, including equipment and signage placement.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks for attendee safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist attendees with inquiries.
