Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a reliable security professional to greet guests, monitor access, and support emergency response on our Des Moines campus.

This office-based role requires staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and collaborating with teams to maintain safety. The position emphasizes attention to detail, proficiency with security systems, and on-site work, with some opportunities for limited remote work with manager approval.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year security, law enforcement or military experience with familiarity with security systems/equipment.
• Must obtain additional skills and training for physical security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking and organization.
• Professional, calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist Wellmark guests and workforce while maintaining security.
• Operate telecommunications, alarm monitoring, camera systems, access control, and life safety systems.
• Act as intermediary between emergencies and responders; convey information and ensure appropriate response.
• Monitor surveillance and patrol premises for safety and asset protection.
• Support visitor management and badge administration.
• Secure premises and report irregularities to prevent losses.
• Assist with parking programs, registrations and inquiries.
• Provide general admin support for security operations, facilities coordination, and employee safety programs.
• Support events and other business-related initiatives as needed.
• Work 100% in-office on-site; occasional remote work may be allowed with approval.
