BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer for the Minneapolis area. The role focuses on maintaining safety and professional presence at events, patrolling venues, screening attendees, and coordinating with law enforcement and event staff to manage incidents and ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and observational skills, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays per event schedules.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, perform bag checks and screenings.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or unauthorized entry.
• Coordinate with staff, law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to attendees and staff.
• Document security activities and incidents for leadership.
