Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and meet local regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong observational and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse people.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain one may be required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter incidents and protect attendees.
• Monitor access points, perform bag checks, and screen entrants.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and EMS as needed.
• Assist attendees, answer questions, and provide directions.
• Report security incidents to supervisors and document events.
• Document activities and observations for leadership review.
• Uphold company policies and guidelines for professionalism.
