Qualifications

• Must have a college degree and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Qualified applicants may hold DD214 with honorable discharge, or an associate degree/60 college credits.
• Police academy or corrections academy certificates are acceptable credentials.
• Law enforcement, military, or corrections background preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and the public while enforcing policies and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor restricted access points, verify credentials and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
